is vaccinated against. It is a fact
that today’s vaccines are effective and have a remarkably high safety record.

important? Besides protecting your pet from fatal diseases, it is an ideal
opportunity for us to monitor the health of your pet on a yearly basis. We may
pick up health problems that otherwise would have gone undetected. It also gives
you the opportunity to discuss any issues you may have regarding their health. When to vaccinate. At Cogges we use the following regime providing your pet is fit and
healthy: Puppies: 2 vaccinations, the
first of which is administered from 8 weeks, followed by a second
2 weeks later Kittens: From 9 weeks,
the second after 3 weeks Rabbits: From 6 weeks Boosters are given annually as a general rule and a reminder will be
sent to you when the next vaccination is due. You will also receive a record
card with all the information on it, which will be needed if your pet goes into
a kennel or cattery. What to do if the yearly
booster has lapsed. If it has been over a year since the last vaccination, you must contact
us as soon as possible and we can advise you what your pet needs. Perhaps they
can still have their booster, but delaying too long may mean starting the course
