Veterinary Nurse Awareness Month

7 May 2019

Throughout May we are supporting ‘National Veterinary Nursing Awareness’ month, promoted by the British Veterinary Nursing Association (BVNA).
Here at Cogges Veterinary Surgery we have eleven qualified registered veterinary nurses (RVN’s), with two students currently undergoing training.
The first person you will see or talk to when visiting or contacting our practice is a veterinary nurse.
Our nurses make your appointments, run clinics, give advice, answer your phone calls, as well as lots of other tasks on a day to day basis.
Behind the scenes they are anesthetists, radiographers, laboratory technicians, surgical assistants, phlebotomists, and much, much more. They will always give your pets their full attention, and still make time to give them a reassuring cuddle.
