Today more than ever, we are aware of the importance of a good diet.

We hope and expect our pets to live longer and healthier lives. Diet is a major factor in realizing this.

There are many reputable commercial companies that have invested heavily in the research of “gold standard” animal nutrition. Such companies have removed the “hit and miss” nutrition of homemade diets and, if we are honest, made our lives much easier in feeding our pets.

Our staff have extensive experience advising of suitable diets for all the species we deal with, and are happy to give advice; from the overweight Labrador to the Lop eared rabbit with dental problems.

Although you will find examples of recommended diets at the practice, there are many alternatives that we would also be happy to advise you on.

Nutrition is inextricably linked to good health. We feel that it is our duty to give good impartial advice on this aspect of your animal’s welfare.
