Sekuru was hit by a car in November and was brought into the Surgery. After
being given emergency treatment for shock, subsequent x-rays showed that he had
fractured the radius and ulna of his right front leg.
Once
we were happy with Sekuru's condition, Graham repaired the fracture using the
application of an external fixator. This is a combination of internal and
external metalwork to keep the bone in place.

After 9 weeks, while his owners did everything they could to prevent Sukuru
from being too active, the metalwork was removed; the fracture had healed
satisfactorily.

This month (February) Sekuru is allowed to be a mighty Border Terrier again.
