Cogges Vets RCVS Accreditations

The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons

We have completed our Practice Standards Scheme inspection by the The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, and received accreditation as a Small Animal General Practice.

The RCVS regulates vets and nurses. In addition, practices that carry the RCVS Accredited Practice Logo have volunteered to be inspected every 4 years with spot checks in between. An RCVS Accredited Practice means high standards of care for your pet and peace of mind for you. Currently, around 65% of the UK’s practice premises are accredited under the Scheme.

About the Practice Standards Scheme

We are incredibly proud to share the news that we have recently been awarded Outstanding by the RCVS in both the Client service award and Team and professional responsibility award.

These awards are in addition to the voluntary RCVS accreditation scheme. At Cogges we continually strive to grow and improve the service we offer our clients and their pets as well as ensure we offer the right support and ongoing training for all our team. We put ourselves forward to work on obtaining these awards to help us achieve those goals.

The RCVS inspector came into practice to see how we work, what systems we have in place and our team culture, much like the Ofsted accreditation process. They have assessed that we provide services above and beyond the stringent standards of accreditation.

We will continue to look at all areas of practice to keep the high standards our clients, patients and staff deserve!
