Out of Hours Update

Up to now, Medivet Woodstock has always provided our out-of-hours service.

We are now passing the overnight on-call to Abivale Veterinary Hospital. This service has specially trained vets and nurses in emergency and critical care who are able to be on-site all night.

If your pet is seen at Abivale Veterinary Hospital, you will usually need to bring them back to Cogges Veterinary Surgery the following morning to continue their care with us. Any clinical notes will be available to both Cogges and Abivale with our integrated computer system. There is no change of data controller, which means your data stays within the same group, so you don’t need to do anything. You can rest assured there will be no disruption to your pet’s care.

Abivale Veterinary Hospital will look after the out-of-hours between 19:00-08:00 Monday to Friday, after 14:00 on Saturdays and after 12:00 on Sundays.
