Animal Health Certificates

Pre appointment questionnaire – to be completed ONCE your appointment has been RESERVED

It is the owners responsibility to ensure all AHC requirements are met prior to travelling, including the timing of appointments.

Find out more information about taking your pet abroad HERE.

Due to time and staffing constraints, we are unable to offer Animal Health Certificates to pet owners who are NOT currently registered with Cogges Vets.

Due to the limited number of appointments available, we need at least 4 weeks notice to book your appointment.

The above information will be used to complete a legal document (the Animal Health Certificate).  Any mistakes may invalidate the AHC and risk your animal being placed in quarantine.  AHCs are prepared in advance of your appointment and therefore any changes made less than 2 weeks before the appointment, or as a result of any mistakes found on the day, will incur an additional charge.

These certificates are for non-commercial travel of pets only and are valid for travel out of the UK within 10 days of the date of your appointment.

You will need to research any additional entry requirements for any of the countries that you will travel through and also if there are risks associated with local parasites.
